PT. Univenus is an international company in the pulp, paper & converting industry. The company was founded in 1975 as a limited liability company under the name PT. THE UNIVENUS COMPANY, domiciled in Tangerang (the “Company”), on September 10, 1975.

In December 1976, the company formed a joint venture with Cung Hwa Pulp Corporation and Taiwan's Yuen Foong Yu Paper Manufacturing Company Ltd. In 1978-1979, it started paper production of 12,000 tons/day with a capital of 3 paper machines and started producing white kraft paper. In 1988 the Company changed its status, becoming a company established in the context of Domestic Investment (PMDN), and changed its name to PT. UNIVENUS.

Currently, PT The Univenus produces tissue. By introducing environmentally friendly tissue products and the only tissue that has halal certificates from the MUI and BPPOM, the company stands out from the competition. PT. The Univenus has four leading tissue brands, namely Paseo, Nice, Toply, and Jolly. These four brands have different target consumers according to the quality and price offered. PT. The Univenus products are divided into several types, facial tissue, toilet tissue (bathroom tissue), napkin tissue (dining tissue), towel tissue (kitchen tissue), and wet tissue. The tissue produced by PT. The Univenus has a superior product.  Facial tissue is famous for its hygiene because, in the manufacturing process, it is heated to a temperature of 480 degrees Celsius so that bacteria and germs die and cannot reproduce. This hygiene is not only found in types of facial tissue but in all types of PT. The Univenus.
